works as advertised. leather has that thin, plasticy feel, snaps and ribbon are fairly cheap but do their job. satin interior is soft but doesn't feel particularly luxurious. it's good enough, but nothing special.also, there is basically no height to the side walls, so this works best for thin jewelry. I put a 3/4" thick necklace in it, and it's a little tight. a large pendant might not fit unless it is pretty flat.
