I purchased for a DIY solar project in the bed of my RAM 4x4. I needed room for the 12v connector box and Solar control box and modifiable to attach battery / solar meter and additional USB and 12v regular plug. It works great and Water tight.This is a solid box that I used for an electronics project. The lid seals well and the inner mounting tray is removable. I have no issues with the quality of the box but I feel the price is somewhat high for what is essentially a plastic box - but it does seem to be well engineered.Works good for my needs easy to mount things on the insideRaines pretty hard out here in SC, but has held up well. It’s holding my mini receiver for the outside speakers- no leaks, came well packaged, no issues.Good productBox is great, but took 3 shipments to get the solid gray lid on box, which was ordered by a specific code. We received 1st box with clear lid, 2nd box had smoke clear lid. Finally received the box with solid gray lid as ordered. Took a while, but we got there!It sealed up my sprinkler timer so it stays dryQuality made box. However, my Eero Wi-Fi extender does not work when placed in the box. The camera that the extender provides Wi-Fi to stops working once the extender is placed in the box.The included mounting plate is convenient and provides clean lines to any small projectStainless latches are nice.
